Hello all, i've been lurking here for a while but with nothing really to contribute until now. I started getting interested in wilderness preparedness after stumbling across this site last year. Previously, i had done some urban preparedness by putting together a kit for the car which came in useful during the 1994 quake here in LA.
Anyway, i came across this guy's videos on google and they are pretty amazing. They are mostly in Swedish with English subtitles and evidently self-produced at very high quality.
www.bushcraft.se He seems to follow the principles of wilderness survival discussed here and in many books and it was great to see someone actually start a fire with a Mora knife, some charcloth and a piece of rock.
I'm also glad to see that he is releasing these videos in a non-proprietary manner and hope that he makes more. Don't everybody hit his servers at once! <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
