I recently got a good deal on a new but older model of the MSR MiniWorks filter. MSR's current model is called the MiniWorks EX. Aside from the new model being a different color and translucent, there appear to be few differences. Anyone have any experience with these two models? Thanks.

The EX will pump faster. That was the main improvement.
But you can purchase EX replacement filters and insert them into the old Miniworks.
IMO either way the best filter out there.
