I just want to point out that Survival Inc. does not call this the "Ultimate Survival Kit" on their web site and does not promote this kit as a full and complete survival kit. They call it the "Deluxe Tool Kit".

I found the kit referred to as a "Ultimate Survival Kit" in several places on the web, which leads me to try to recall if Survival Inc. USED to be called "Ultimate Survival" (I seem to recall that, but not sure). If so, the name of the kit didn't really indent to suggest it was the ultimate survival kit, but instead that it was a kit put together by a company named Ultimate Survival.

Anyway, here is their web site: http://www.survivalinc.com

The " Sarong as a survival tool" link on that blog was surely unique. <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I ordered two of these kits from the NRA store thinking I was going the get the saw with the kit for only 12.50 What a great deal right. No for 12.50 I got the tinder, mirror, wistle, and blast match but no saw. I have seen this kit several times on the internet and often the picture with the saw is used but if you look at the discription you only get what i got.

Even without the saw that's a great deal. I just ordered 2 from the NRA site. My local Sports Chalet charges $19.98 for the Blastmatch alone!
