Okay, since this thread started I have had a 2 in. piece of gorilla tape stuck to the window of my Jeep, rain, shine, cold , heat etc. Still stuck tight with no signs of peeling or delamination. Seems to be really good stuff. I really should of placed some other brand of tape alongside to make a good test.

Does it leave hard-to-remove residue like regular duct tape? I tried to remove some at work with steam at 225+F & 250 psi. The duct tape came off pretty easily but the adhesive was still there; I eventually gave up.

Is this tape waterproof ? I mean it doesn't peel off during heavy downpour.

Don't know about the residue, I imagine it will . just like any other tape. As to the waterproofness..it has been on my truck for quite a while, in rain sun shine etc and has yet to peel off.

I did some tape testing on other brands and being able to stick for long periods of time is not the only thing to worry about
You need to knowif the tape (roll of it) will stay in that fashion or will it start spacingout and getting odd shaped, and exposing some of the sticky to air... this happened tom e with some GREAT STICKING tape in my house <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Okay, finally picked up a roll tonight at WM. They had it back in the paint aisles. I look forward to testing it out. I think it cost around $9, but it's a nice heavy roll and if it lives up to the claims, I think it would be worth it.
