I agree, you first have to determine what you mean by "pocket sized". I can understand your desire for a metal container..hard to boil water in plastic. I have used old Kodak film reel canisters, cleaned of course. Don't know what type of film was in them, but they were about 2 inches thick and about 4 inches across. A little large for pocket sized, but jacket pocket sure. You could cram an amazing amount of gear in there and they boiled water great. Happened to be at an advertising agency doing an odd job and they were throwing them out. I agree with Chris...it's a religious experience.
