Here's something else you may be able to help me with.

I'd like a front seat organizer that looks like this Vehicle Organizer and is about the same size (12"H x 9"W x 6"D). However, I want it to strap into the front seat like this Front Seat Organizer, which looks a bit too large (6.25"H x 13.75"W x 10.5"D).

Any ideas?

Mine is a cheaper off brand. I have a full size pick-up so I set it in the center and wrap the carry strap around the seat back to prevent it moving around in a sudden stop. With the top closed, it makes a nice arm rest.

Mine has a better lid. Two zipper type with a soft top that I just roll back out of the way.

Easy to remove when parked and also doubles as my EDC when I need to carry more but do not want to use a backpack.

Check your local "cop shop" or gun store. Very common item with lots of variations in lay-out and price.

This is what I ahve in my truck. You can have it face forward when you are driving solo, or backward if you have a passenger.

Go to a good hiking store. Pick up a 1" nylon strap with a quick release buckle. You could use a heavy duty needle and thread to stitch the strap to the bag. Then the storage container attaches with the strap buckled behind the seat (a bit like a fanny pack for your seat). If the strap is too thick to stitch, you could stitch a couple of nylon belt loops on the bag. Thread the strap through the loops and clip the strap behind the seat. Easy in, easy out.

I also like malpaso's "Cab Commander" too. Put that baby on the front of the seat.

Don't forget to pick up a set of seat back organizers. Both our vehicles use the seat back organizers. I had to use a large safety pin on the headrest straps to shorten them (l like the organizers mounted high for easy access). On the bottom I remove the "shoe laces" and replaced with mini bungee straps. This keeps the organizers snug to the seat, but allows for easy removal.

You can never have too much storage in your vehicles. If I had my way I'd be driving a 4X4 UPS truck!
