Let me start of with a big thank you to all of you, especially the long time members.

Thank you for sharing your experiences and so much interesting information. I have been visiting Equiped to Survive for a loooooong time (years) and each time I am amazed at the little gems that I find here.

I finally decided to post because my situation is a bit unusual; my edc and bob are one and that raises some specific issues.

In general I look for rugged, hard wearing equipment, preferably light, multifunctional and not "way out there" expensive.

I'm not a big poster in general but have a couple of questions which I hope you will be able to answer.
