I have what is apparently and extremely fat head. I just got a couple of boonies from TLBTOJ today, but the 7 3/4 are just too small for my big head!

Does anyone know of a place that sells boonies bigger than 7 3/4?

I feel your pain. I was going to get a Tilley TH4, and couldn't find anything bigger than 7 5/8 in stores and so have to order it online, but haven't because I've found that while some size 7 3/4 hats will fit me others won't.

Perhaps my melon is varisized depending on how much I have on my mind at any one time... Or maybe the air pressure in my head varies with temperature... LOL

Anyway, if you're interested in something like a Tilley, which isn't exactly a booney (boonie?) then they sell size 8 and 8+ at Tilley's Endurables. They're pretty pricey though...

Oh, and they're hemp, so maybe that'll be a bonus for you. (saw your tag) LOL

I don't even want to admit that when a hat says "One Size Fits All" that I feel like a mutant when one won't fit me. LOL

I purchased the XL size from REI. Fits fine, but a normal baseball cap is too small for me.

Those Tilleys look like serious hats! I like the specs on 'em too (especially the hemp!), but I think I will keep looking for something less expensive. Although, I'm definately going to keep the Tilley in mind!

From my expirence, "One Size Fits All" = "One Size Fits Some (one else that's not me)"

I'm blessed in the same way. For years I just thought I couldn't wear hats. I finally happened upon Duluth Trading Company. They sell reasonably priced, well-made hats in multiple sizes. Their XL/XXL baseball caps fit me great and are only about $12-15. They have boonies and other styles as well.

While not technically boonies, their bucket hats are nice.

I also like their washed hunting and fishing caps.

I am pretty well endowed in the noggin and have used both of these places
