CPF is a good place to ask, though it's somewhat centered around pocket sized LED lights and people will suggest those as the answer to just about anything no matter how inappropriate.
If you want something really monstrous, try a HID spotlight like the McCullough X990 or Maxabeam. Some of those will stand up on their own.
