When I get to take my Commander out of the display cabinet, it's for hiking. It then goes in a back pocket, availaible if needed for a fast deployment.
But I never used it for camp duties ! I pack other knives, more suitable for that..

So I have not had to sharpen the blade of the Commander : it's brand new !!
But I have to admit Im not sure how I will do it, if/when needed...
I just noted the blade is not a real V : one "side" of the V is shorter than the other "side", it's more like a chisel
