The micro mesh is more of a cloth like consistency instead of a paper like consistency. I think I had to order mine from the internet, because no stores around here sell it. I'm not too knowledgable about it, but I think that 2000 is a very fine grit for sand paper, but not micro mesh <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Yeah, people would get nervous when all of a sudden, my Commander, with the scary looking black blade was out of my pocket and open <img src="/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> I stopped carrying it because the overall length of the knife with the blade open is one quarter of an inch longer than the legal limit where I live.

I've never been able to get a sharp edge on mine, and I'm seriously considering selling it. Have you had any luck with sharpening it? Granted, I don't have a lot of experience sharpening, but even with a Spyderco Sharpmaker, no luck <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />
I'd like to try putting a convex edge on my RSK M2 (when it arrives) but I'm afraid I'll mess it up and ruin it <img src="/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />
