How about we prevail upon Chris to make a new post, as a sticky, and edit it as new acronyms are built up so we have a one-stop resource? Either that or make a specific page for this.

As a newbie, I'm also confused by the clipped equipment descriptions..as in, I always carry a G3 MT blah blah blah - is it a knife? a device? a can of corn?
Thanks to everyone who shares products with working URLs - I'm browsing a lot of cool stuff and vendor websites I didn't know existed.

Ok with me. How does one Prevail upon Chris?
I have been updating a word document with all new items provided by post. Will be happy to send a copy to any who ask. (could also make it a PDF). (Portable Document Format as in .PDF files in Adobe Acrobat) Thanks to those that have contributed to the list and to everyone for a forum that has been key to setting up my EDC.
