If I say the little spray bottles for breath spray, do people know what I mean? About half to three-quarters of an inch across, and about 3-3.5" long.

I would love to get a couple of those guys, but rather than packed with breath spray, one each in WD-40, a light oil and a spray adhesive.

Has anyone seen anything like this?

I've seen WD-40 packaged in just such a size. Usually at the 'impulse buy' section near the counters at home improvement stores.

There's been a small WD-40 can (aluminum) out for some time, but it's not quite as small a diameter as what you requested. However, how about a WD-40 pen?

If you can live with a pump... re-cycle a small pump container. This time of year, I carry one in my coat pocket that is filled with denatured alcohol. It easily fits your size criteria, including the cap that covers the pump. Put whatever you need in that. Or, I carry some things in 1 oz Nalgene bottles - Kroil, for one, and USP mineral oil for another. A little scrounging and you can be set...

HTH,

Tom

I hadn't seen the pen. Coooooool.

Now, if they would make a slightly heavier lubricant in the same pen...

Cool. Reminds me of the King of the Hill episode where Hank is trying to open a stuck door with a can of WD-40. He can't get the cap off, so he pulls a smaller can of WD-40 from a belt sheath and sprays the big can.

I donīt know about the WD 40 pen but there are refillable pens like that. You could fill it with the lubricant of your choice. My father still owns an old one that looks like an old fountain pen. It even has a cap with a clip to prevent it from making a mess when you carry it in your pocket.

Here is another idea. Nalgene should make pump spray bottles. <img src="/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />

I hadn't thought of that. A fountain pen might work.

Nalgene makes labware bottles with standard neck thread sizing, so you could probably find a HDPE pump cap to work with them.

Also, a few companies make reusable Nalgene aerosol spray bottles. Essentially they're spray bottles with a pump built in to pressurize the contents. It's HDPE rather than the Lexan most people are familiar with though. Nalgene Aerosol Container

I have seen some Nalgene Lexan-like pump spray bottles (atomizer?) in Walmart's Travel Section (near the pharmacy). I don't know if they are indeed Nalgene though. I didn't read the info on the bottom of the bottle.
