Ive seen threads about space blankets, and bonchos. I am wondering : are there any bonchos that are aluminized from inside ??? Is there a combination boncho-space balnket ?

These ponchos are great for $14. The grommits even allow you to use it as a tarp in a pinch too!

Gator is right this item has multiple uses, I use it folded up just to sit on when the ground is cold and wet.

Yeah, I'm pretty happy with mine too.. actually better in the rain than an issue poncho if you're not on the move.

Huh! Not sure how I'd missed those before. I shop from BQ/ActionGear a fair bit, since they're local and I can just drop by and pick things up when the mood strikes.

I can get mine down to a 4" by 4" by 4" cube, but that puts a lot of corner stress on the material. I prefer to blanket fold the thing into a 9" width by it's full length, then roll it tightly, wich doesn't create an corner stress. It fits in a nice 3" diamter by 10" long stuff sack that way. That's about as small as you can expect it to get without pinching the material down.
