The word "Community" appears in this article 13 times, if you include the title graphic. That always sort of raises my eyebrows since, in my experience, people who belabor this term do so with a very specific sort of community in mind, in which everyone shares their beliefs and lifestyles.
Anyhoo, this really redlined the eyeroll-o-meter:
Imagine this: a group of people get together, obtain some funding from the town for a community development project, and build a few bike carts
If they're so cheap to build, why appeal to civil authority to foot the bill? Can't the commune, erm, I mean
community , sell organic manure to cover the costs, or something?
Thanks to Chris, btw. Now I know not only what to call the
shemagh I picked up recently, but how to wear it, too. <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
