First, I would like to thank those who offer this site as a teaching aid and means of gaining real information with "non-panic" mannerisms. I have found the product reviews most helpful.
I have three grown children with their own families (and my Grandchildren) living in US cities where they may be at risk of natural or manmade disasters. I am concerned for their abilities to deal with the public reaction (chaos) to "an event" and am preparing survival packs for them. This kit will be unlike (but similar) to a survival kit used when you find yourself in the wilderness. My question: are there any sites that discuss urban survival in urban chaos??

I thank you in advance for any information.
Dale

I suggest that you put aside some free time to browse the site here and use the "search" function. Probably not the answer you were expecting, but searching for keywords is the best way I found to pinpoint relevant information.

You can search for a ton of things... Urban EDC, disaster preparation, city survival, urban survival kit, are just examples of things you can search for.

Have fun! <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

The American Red Cross has a checklist for a home Disaster Supplies Kit at:

http://www.redcross.org/services/prepare/0,1082,0_91_,00.html

Probably worth checking out.

As to Urban chaos, I think you will find a lot of chaos (urban and otherwise) right here if you go back through old posts.

Welcome to the Forum .

That would be us. If you can survive it, we've probably talked about it. <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
