The UPS guy just delivered my new SteriPen! In an earlier post, I said that it looked different from the photo on the REI website, so maybe it's the older model. Now that I have it in my hand, I can see that depending on what angle you're looking at, it looks like the photos on REI's website and Hydro-Photon's website, so it looks like Piragis is selling the current model--at a third off normal retail! Thanks for the tip, turbo!

Mine was delivered today also. It is identical to my two year old one down to the model number stamped on the battery cover.

On my first SteriPen Case I cut the threads and removed the large SteriPen Logo on the nylon case and I will do the same to this one. With that amount of coin hanging on your pack or belt, it does not pay to advertise. I also connect the case to the SteriPen with short piece of elastic cord. There is a small loop on the back of the case for this.
