Bubbajoe,

I have the Angler II in black. It's well-made, with lots of gadgets, like a button-sized compass and red led light. I hate wristwatches, so this works for me. I like having multi-use items, and it's held up pretty good to being banged around. I took the nippers off - too many questions from the office crowd. Hope that helps.

I keep it clipped to a belt loop on my pants, and it gets its share of bumps, but the face is no worse for wear. I'm not sure how it would hold up to pocket carry. Some of the black paint has worn off where it rubs against the metal clip on my I.D. badge.
