Because outside of the 12% (more or less) of the work force in this country that are Union members, for the most part (bottom 75%, give or take), workers in this country are wage slaves, I've been there, done that, and am indescribably thankful that, now, I am a member of a Union (Labor Local 393) that, through the efforts of my elected representatives and the various brother members of said Union, I go to work for a livable, respectable wage, and I don't have to worry about unreasonable management trying to squeeze the last drops of sweat and blood out of me before kicking me out the door. And before anybody gets the idea that this is just the rambling of some lazy slug, my regular recall to various employers is proof enough that I (and most of my brother workers, nobody's perfect, but that's what recall rights are all about) earn my pay. Before I get this shut down, if anybody's going to reply to this particular post, please PM it, I think it's getting off topic, but this is a topic about which I am VERY empassoioned and devoted to.
