I have to post just to tell you about my experience with this company. I bought an Ice Companion ( http://www.toollogic.com/ice1.htm ) about 18 months ago from a local store. The other night I noticed that the compass was not working so I emailed them and explained to them that I not longer had a receipt but that it was broken. They immediately sent me a new one with and addressed, postage paid envelope to return the broken one. I did not have to return it first and be without it while they decided whether or not to replace it. Great customer service!

The Ice Companion is not a substitute for a "real" knife but it is a slim little package that fits nicely in a small area. If all else fails, at least it is a blade. Actually, I've never used the blade, just carry it in a small PSK. And I recommend them highly, based on my experience with their customer service.

Just noticed on their website that they sell this thing in a tin. Might be a good PSK tin.

Miner,
I have used a Toollogic tin for years although it was from their SL3 Fire. It's size is 5.5" X 3.25" X 1." Great pocket carry. The only problem is that it wears out the ranger bands wrapped around it every few months but I have plenty of them.

I have one but the case cracked at the hinge for the scissors so I started parting it out. The scissors are good for light cutting they are in my otter box PSK. The knife is real sharp I like it and want to make a new handle for it. I wish I would have known about the great costumer serves but I am happy with parting it out. Know that I know they are so accommodating I think I might buy another. <img src="/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" /> Mine has the light instead of the compass.
Thanks for the info about the costumer service.
