Bought Thermolite bivvy 6 months ago; love it. It is a huge step up from mylar space blanket; and (for me) in most circumstances, the additional bulk (rolled in its stuff sack, 4" x 6") and weight (~6 oz) is an acceptable trade-off; fits nicely in daypack.
