In my opinion, MRE's are really not that bad. Most of the meals are actually quite good if you are hungry and warm them up. With that said, the longest period I have gone eating nothing but MRE's is 4-5 days. After that period it is pretty essential to eat some fresh fruit/vegetables to keep balance. Remeber.. MRE's are for the field, not for home. Everyone has their favorite and least favorite meals but the ones that most people go for include Beef Teriyaki, Frankfurkers, Chicken/Beef stew and Spaghetti or ravioli.
