I'd have to move a bit to be sure of hitting it. Generally the UK is roughly opposite New Zealand.

Notwithstanding St. Augustine's view of it, -as you give, -there of course *is* a directly opposite, Antipodal Point, -to any particular spot on our Earth's surface. Being that we are a "Water Majority" planet, -oftentimes a given land area's antipodal point, -will be in its Oceanic Water. Sometimes, however, -it does come up Land for Land. Unless such Antipodal Land be Uninhabited or Uninhabitable, -there is No reason why it is impossible for other People to also be living there. The Church, -I say Respectfully, -has often ended up wrong on matters of Science and such, -before. St Augustine should stick to his fortes of Religion / Philosophy / and Theology, -which he has done very well, *elsewhere*.

We too here, -are to steer pretty Clear of Religion, Politics, and other such controversies. Myself included. This basic comment here is only in reply.
