Lena, I don't think I disagree with Biggzie; they are very awkward for me to cut my nails with, so I suspect that they are left-handed, since I'm not. I can live with that, since I usually use the file on my nails. For cutting other things, it seems to be ok.
I should probably add that I've carried the Micra every day for several years, and (since I've never cut wire, but only plastic and paper) the scissors are still fairly good. I don't think they ever had the nice feel or sharpness of the smaller Spirit scissors.
Today I carry both the Micra (in my pocket) and the Swiss Spirit (on my belt or in my briefcase).

The Vic Rambler is what I carry, partly for its scissors. However, they are pretty small and I wouldn't want to have to, eg, cut someone's shoe off with them. Also the spring invariably goes missing after a few years. Still good for cutting nails, paper, plastic etc.

Just a quick update to this post : I've sent my Micra for warranty service and it came back working nice and smooth. They cleaned it up, oiled it up, and I think they replaces the scissor hinges since it's what's written on the service sheet.
Looks like I might replace my beautiful Victorinox emerald green Manager in favor of the Micra! (original EDC).
