On my person everyday - Neck Knife - Barkriver Mikro Slither, Right front pocket - Kershaw Chive Left Front Pocket - SAK VIC Rucksack. In my Fatboy I also have a leatherman Juice 6e, a Barkriver Southern Skinner fixed blade (mostly because I haven't taken it out yet) and a small Gerber paraframe. Yes. I probably carry far more knives than I need to - but I like to play with them. If I had to pick two for EDC I'd go with the Rucksack and the Mikro Slither.

I just carry my Ritter RSK in it's rigid, form fitted custom sheath-AKA as my dirty jeans standing up in the corner my cat growls at. I haven't tried it against any charging bannana slugs, but it's proved capable so far. Note, for those unfamiliar with coastal redwood, mixed grassland oak vegetation, the bannana slug is either a very large, zinc cromate yellow critter seen frequenting redwoods and impenetrable poison oak or a UCSC student majoring in fascinating, but economically suicidal majors <img src="/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />

EDC, just a Spyderco Jester on my keychain. In my belt pack (not always carried), a SAK Explorer. I was just on a plane trip and carefully put the SAK in my checked bag but forgot about the Jester and of course the TSA hassled me. I had a carry-on bag full of electronic gear and there was adequate time before the flight to go back to the counter, so I put the Jester into the bag and checked it. My cell phone was also in the bag, and somehow (probably during baggage handling before the flight) the phone got turned on. So it was on and broadcasting from the luggage compartment through the whole flight. Brilliant work, TSA.

Seriously though, left front pocket, usually a Sebenza (large on the weekends, small at work), left watch pocket, Gerber LST Microlight or Ultralight (to keep tape adhesive off my Sebenza), right watch pocket Wenger Pocket tool chest, keeping my Photon Freedom anchored.

I guess I must wash my jeans a little more often than Chris. Maybe if I didn't, the Ti clips wouldn't tear up the corner of my pocket as badly.

While at work, I carry a Fallkniven U2 and a small multiblade watchpocket sized slipjoint like the Case Peanut or an 84mm SAK. There is also a Vic SwissTool X in my briefcase.

When off; I carry a BRKT Mikro, Mikro II, or Mikro Slither along with a watchpocket sized slippie...

3 knives for EDC in cities and short travels when I do not need to cook.
2 knives for walks.
3 knives for gun and bowshooting.
5 knives when I work for a long time from home - because I have to cook.
