Spyderco Rescue, and either a Stanley Pocket Multi-Tool (work) or full size Gerber Multi-Tool (play).

I carry a Leatherman Squirt and a Swissmemory in my pockets, and an RSK in my coat.

urban EDC :

- 1 small gentleman folder in my belt's pouch
- 1 Leatherman PST (in a belt sheath)
- 1 RSK (in a belt sheath) ; this one will probably be replaced in a near future by a mini RSK

when travelling (train or car), add 1 Fred Perrin's Griffe, around my neck

on special days (e.g. "pique-nique au bureau"...), add a nice looking (and nice cutting) Le Thiers folder.

On my person, usually just my Leatherman Wave. I used to carry a folding K-Bar when I did radio work, but don't have much need for it here at the office now. In the car, I keep a Cold Steel SRK. I have another one in my BOB, and in the drawer by my pillow I keep the Swamprat Desert Battle rat.

Back in Baghdad, I wore the Leatherman and one of the SRKs on my hip, and the other SRK on my ankle most of the time.

At work I have a Husky multi-tool in both my turnouts and response pants. If I am wearing duty pants I carry one of my many CRKT M16 series folders.

Off duty, around town, I typically carry a Victorinox One Handed Trekker or my Benchmade Axis or Griptillian and a leatherman Juice S2 or CS2. More commonly though, I just carry the Trekker.

When In the field I carry the Trekker, a Leatherman Wave and a fixed blade knife (KBAR Nightfighter, CRKT ABC Operator or Benchmade Nimravus).

Anything more than one used to make me thing...." why the hell..." but now i see the various uses. I personally usually hover around the number 3, why
-always a leatherman micra on my EDC key rig (seperate from my KEYS)
-victorinox huntsman plus or huntsman lite
-leatherman charge xi tool (black edition)
-sometimes i'll rotate out a gerber ar 4.0 depends on needs of the day/trip

Since you asked...

  • Victorinox CyberTool 41 in belt pouch (usually covered by turtleneck or other pullover)
  • Victorinox SwissTool R/S or Leatherman WAVE in softsided briefcase
  • Spyderco Jester in tiny pocket of bluejeans
  • Victorinox Rambler in bluejeans
  • Blade-Tech Mouse Lite clipped inside the back pocket of my bluejeans
