Ran across a slick, cheap cellphone accessory awhile back and acquired a few yesterday. It's call Cellboost. It's a battery pack for your cellphone that provides 60 minutes of talk time and 60 hours of standby. Roughly the size of a Zippo but slimmer and plugs into the slot/hole that your recharger plugs into. Radio Shack has them for $4-7, and you just select the one that matches your model of phone. I can't report on their longevity claims, but it seems like a good thing to throw in the briefcase/backpack/glove box. If you do get one, take a look on the back for the "expiration" date. Some had a 1 year shelf life, others were 2 years. Cellboost
