Well, I didn't expect them to make it before the holidays, however, there on my porch this evening was a box from Finland, and in the box - 50 shiny new Magfire Pros all wrapped up in a nice box.

Of course, I had to let the ETS folks know about this turn of events, and while I'm retailing them at $22 each, as before with the magfire standards, I'm offering a $20 each special to the ETS forum and friends of the forum.

Here's the link:
http://www.magfireusa.com/ets/

With only 50 in stock, they should last about 2-3 days, at most and remember the ETS sale ends Midnight Friday.

Still have a few hundred Magfire standards around too @ $10 each.

Martin, I am looking to replace my pocket-carried Countycomm Metal Match and was wondering what the dimensions on the Magfire Pro are. Are there any photos available online that have both Magfires in the picture for comparison? Also, Martin or Sgt Mike, if either of you have used both, can you compare the volume of sparks produced by the standard magfire to that of the Metal Match?

Thanks, Vince

...now I just have to find something to light on fire...3000 times...I am thinking something like the tootsie Roll pop question...how many strikes does it take to get to the center of a MagFire...what is at the center of a MagFire...so many questions <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I do not know yet, but take a look at this...

MagFire Feview

Mike seems to have found some notable differences.

Think I'll give one a try, if there's any left.

thanks for the suggestions.

I've added a "Specifications" section to the site. It's online now. Let me know what you think.

The specifications section was very helpful. I just ordered a Magfire Pro. It's just a bit bigger than the Metal Match so it should work out fine for pocket carry.

Thanks, Vince
