BOB is a steadfast, reliable friend upon which one can always count. Or so I thought. I frequently make use of BOB and Mini-BOB as a source of equipment. In addition to convenience, that is an effective way to test & maintain familiarity with the equipment. I was surprised when I missed a tool characteristically kept there. Since I was preparing for a camping trip, I decided to inventory the contents. That's when I was amazed to discover that many items kept there had emigrated to parts unknown.

I plan to regularly inventory the contents. That is probably the only way to ensure their presence.

John

There is nothing more frustrating than equipment gone astray. I always provided a complete equestrian first aid kit- often the only kit at the various ranches I've boarded or worked at. I let it be known it was for emergencies, and my only request that supplies so used be replaced. Well it happened; my own horse was injured and I stared into a half empty kit recently raided. I recovered most of my supplies later, including a special halter. The horse attached I considered my property until the owner paid a rental fee.
