I enjoy hiking in the mountains. Our packs typically weigh 50 lbs. At a leisurely pace I plan 10 miles a day. This allows for ample time to set up camp, gather firewood and prepare meals ? You must also consider that the more people in the group, the slower your progress. Alone I can cover much more terrain?
