(Please don't get mad, I'm not trying to bad mouth the prez.) I saw this article on CNN today and in the context of what WE carry in our pockets, I thought it was funny:
http://www.cnn.com/2005/POLITICS/11/02/bush.pockets.ap/index.html

What does he do to open up those infernal cans of pudding when the ring tab breaks off, when he doesn't even carry a Leatherman? Plus, it is funny that the only thing he carries, a hankerchief, is white (a strange color choice given that he doesn't back down).

Despite his various Shortcomings and Faults, (Even I think so!), -He is, to his Credit, -Setting a Larger Tone of Preparedness, -to our Western World and Nation. Kinda like a President who Brilliantly Leads a Nation in War! But who himself has Little to None Served! We'd like people to come Unblemished and without Warts. As with anyone, -this is often largely *Not* the case! Like Cromwell said at his Portrait Sitting! Do me "Warts and All"!

Ps, -I do *Not* happen to be Offended, Mad, or anything! ! [color:"black"] Christina

When you have agents to carry your stuff for you, I guess that is all you really need as EDC.

What has always bothered me is why does the Queen of England have to carry a purse?

To accessorize her outfit, of course! Sheesh . . . !

But really, I wouldn't mind having a half dozen armed men willing to give thier lives for my safety as part of my EDC. Who needs a leatherman when you have an Entourage!

Umm... He's got the Secret Service and the TOTAL power of the United States Government behind him!

Need some water? Have the SS get it "donated".

Someone shooting at you? Have the SS "chat" with them

Need to get out of the area? Call your "DAD" (Defense Air Detachment) to pick you up.

Late for an important appointment? Turn on the Blue and Reds, close down the interstate, and have your driver drive 20+ over the speed limit in a heavily armed and armored convoy.

Need land at the airport, and the traffic is too much? Call "LIFEGUARD AIR FORCE 1"

I think that's Marine One.

A friend sent me this website, and if it in any way represents the truth, it's really SCARY: Capital Hill Blue(s)

And how bout many a modern day Coup!?

Too Bad that saadam's PHRASECENSOREDPOSTERSHOULDKNOWBETTER. Guard and other layers of Security couldn't or wouldn't do such! (A Rare Individual or two therein Tried, -but didn't get too far! Alas!). [color:"black"] GardenGrrl
