Well, I got my Surefire L2... It has exceeded my expectations.
The LED light is the whitest I have seen. At high power, the 100 Lumen light is noticably brighter than my A2 or G2 and It seems to be even brighter than my Z2 (w/ P61 125 lumen bulb). Additionally, at high power it illuminates much more area than the any of the above lights and seems to reach farther.

The 15 Lumen low power setting is almost the perfect brightness for general tasks. Although it will not replace my Tikka headlamp for general work, it will replace my A2 for EDC... infact my A2 may get sold.

The only critisim I have so far is the tailcap seems a little sensitive. Other than that, I am very happy with it and I will post a follow-up after I have carried it for a month.

I like my L2, but I prefer my L4, because I can switch between Incan, KL4, or KL1 heads, it's smaller than the L2, and the heads are interchangable with my E1L/KL4 which is my EDC flashlight. <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
