Does anyone knows where to get button sized watches/clocks ?

I dont know exactly what you are looking for, but I have got a small clock that is designed to be recessed into wood etc.
I bought it from a local supplier which sells clock modules, parts and hands etc so you can make your own clocks.
The clock I have is about 22mm and I've seen people use them in paper weights and pen holders for desks. (I got it for an unfinished project)

Not sure what you are looking for, but maybe take a look at women's watches. Some of them are very small. Might work if you remove the band and do a little work on the case with a file?

Expanding on Ron's suggestion, keep your eyes open for novelty items with integrated – but removable – clocks. I was lucky enough to get this Timex that way, which has been reliable for nearly ten years.

Edit: Timex website says that Wal-Mart and K-Mart carry their collectible mini-clocks (mounted in a variety of "collectibles"). Doesn't mention prices. Wal-Marts in Germany?

If you want the smallest mechanical movement in the world, try to get the Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 101 (created in 1929, 12 mm and still remains the smallest.)

Sorry, I didn´t told what I was exactly thinking of but I was looking forward to your brainstorms.
In the rough I dreamed about a clock same sized as the SAS-compass or even smaller. So Frankie´s idea (Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 101) was keenly what I´ve thought but my budget seems to be too limited for it and I believe it is a sacrilege to burry such a genius item down in my PSK.
I´m even sad because I love full mechanical things over all electronics.
I think I´ll focus on xbanker´s Wal-Mart theme (Yes, they´ve finally reached Germany).
