Now you know about how it is going to start. I am right in the middle of it here, and I am just getting over the flu bug. Not nice.

The flu bug I caught is just starting here in Baghdad. There are now about 5,000 ex-pats and tens of thousands of US military here, many coming and going from the states. If there is a "cross pollination" with this virus we have and the bird flu, we will be bringing it back with us. Baghdad is full of pigeons, doves, and chickens, all populations unrestricted. If it could happen anywhere, here would be a likely candidate.

Ain't it weird.
