I was wondering if you guys know where I can find info on how to make my own SAK scales. Also, is it legal to make my own main blade for the SAK and LM for sale commercially?

I don't know about legality of sales. You would really need to contact the companies about that and probably a lawyer. It would depend on what level of business you want to do. If you are just doing a few here and there I wouldn't worry too much.

For information go to www.knifeforums.com and sign up to be a member. Once you are a member you can join the SOSAK (Secret Order of the Swiss Army Knife or something like that). You will find many examples of custom scales, custom blade combinations, and custom blades. There are several tutorials put together by members too. You will also find a little bit of information in their Outdoor and Survival forum also.

Check out knifeforums.com, and the website in my signature. I don't think it would be a problem to sell blades for a SAK. However, changing the blade is a pain in the neck. You would need the proper tools, and selling blades for the average consumer to change ion there SAKs would lead to nothing but problems. For proof of this just join the SOSAK forum and do a search. You will see that modifying a SAK can be rather difficult.
