Placed an order back in August, box showed up today.

This thing is great! Definitely brighter than the previous model. If possible, it's even higher quality than the old Arcs. The fit, finish, feel, etc. are perfect. The beam has more useful spill inside 30 feet or so than my HDS Ultimate 60. I used to carry the Arc as back up, but I can honestly see me reaching for it over the HDS for some tasks.

Note Arc offers two models: A regular and premium version. In previous models, the "premium" was just hand selected from the regular models for better LED color. Now, the premium uses a different, brighter LED than the regular, so it's definitely worth the extra $$$.

On a serious note, the ARC will be the coup de gr?ce for latest version of keychain EDC. Feeling kinda sorry for the Photon.

Do they charge your card right away when you order it, or when it ships?

I can't prove it (don't have my statements handy), but I'm pretty sure you're not charged until the lights ship.

Why not carry both? I got tired of trying to choose between them. Now they both live happily side by side.
