Yes, there are tools that make sharpening them easier, but I don’t generally carry one.<br><br>On the other hand, the non-serrated version has one of my other pet gripes- a convex edge. I just don’t see the utility of deliberately designing a knife so that it cannot be sharpened with a flat stone, even if that's not how you plan to do it normally.. and, in most cases, the reason for the convex edge seems mostly cosmetic. Just me, I guess.<br>
