We are going to Texas County (county seat HOUSTON??) on the Jack's Fork River. I order my USGS topos from the Rolla office. Love the Ozark hills in the fall. Owned by MDC and has three public campgrounds (no facilities). We are on Ranch Road at the East campsite. 12,000+ acres of public hunting. Non resident turkey permit $95. Season open entire month of October.
