kelty map-3500 backpack

Roomy, comfortable, many pockets, solid design, h2o bladder compatible, nicely padded straps... many colors to choose from... nice fleece pocket for your sunglasses but I use it for delicate small camera. comes in many colors and is not so military looking.

Surefire E1L

Nice and powerful LED light for its size without costing you an arm and a leg (UDC and ARC). I used to carry L2 as my edc but this became my number one light now. Takes only one battery, build like a tank and fits nicely in my palm. I think surefire got this one right.

Titanium zippo

Lightweight. Same old zippo inside but on the outside you got pure titanium. Well maybe myth of stopping bullets will still stay a myth BUT it is lightweight and finish that slowly wears off in your pocket makes interesting unique designs. I went back to zippos recently after ditching my windmill for my BOB kit. Gotta love the smell.

Backwood cigars

Just what a man needs after a hard work. Yes those are not monte cristos but than again I won't cry if another call comes in and I have to throw the lit one away.

And kudos to my dog for geing smarter with age:

Do you know if there is a rain cover available for the Kelty pack? I'm always afraid of hoofing it in a downpour!

You're killing me. I keep trying to find a reason NOT to buy an E1L.

Don't know if there is a pack cover for that pack specifically but, they do make generic pack covers that fit most packs.

There is no specific cover designed for this pack but Kelty makes generic ones.
