Survivorman TV show premieres on Discovery Science Channel tonight at 9 pm (at least, Mountain Time zone). Two back-to-back shows tonight: Artic and Mountain. Next week is Utah Canyonlands. For those of us in CA/AZ, the Sonoran Desert is featured in upcoming show.

Is this a (lack of) reality show, or a documentary type?
