Just saw an ad for a new show on the Science channel called Survivorman. A guy,didn't get a name,sorry, is put into different situations for seven days with no food or water. Saw him in jungle, snow, and water situations. Gonna have to check it out. I think it starts Sep 16 at 9.

Lions and Tygers and Canadian friend Les Stroud Oh MY! Les posted here for help making this series. It's a good series. Sometimes Les gets a little theatrical, but shows his mistakes and gives honest information.

Just watched the first episode off the Net. Entertaining & confirms the basics, might make more people aware of the importance of being prepared.
