Has it ever been suggested, considered to have a classified section to buy, trade, or sell used equipment like most other gun, knife forums do?

I think he meant all the stuff that is in a lot of people's garages. We all know that there are some people who have so much stuff that if they managed to get it all in the trunk of their car, the back bumper would be dragging on the ground and the front end would be up in the air.
There may be a lot of people here that can afford the best, but it took them a while to find stuff that they really liked, and there are probably at least the same number that would like some decent equipment at a reasonable price.
You-know-where will be frozen around the edges before I can afford to buy a $100 knife. Even $50 knife. Actually, my $10 Mora will have to be my #1 for probably the next 10 years. <img src="/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />

Exactly. I read a recent post of a fellow who has three GPS units from constantly upgrading. Maybe a place to advertise the two he doesn't use anymore, not necessarily somebody elses junk. Thank you Susan.

Hmm, sounds like an idea with some potential.
I'd much rather get a few bucks for my discards than to just toss them.

Well she is right you know. I have a rino 120 that I will be forwarding out to ebay soon and even thou I'm not expecting to make a killing I wouldn't mind to get few bucks less if the item is sold to right hands... Same goes for other stuff. I gave away my share of equipment but some things need to be sold even if for nominal price.

I feel the same way. Have a few items to get rid of, but have never wanted to make the leap to eBay. Plus, I would much rather deal with ETS members anyday.

This is a great idea. It would be a good way for like-minded people to locate and exchange excess gear. Count me in.

I am so ready for something like that. If there is anything someone wants or needs, post a want ad here and I will see if I have it. I myself want to get a hold of five of those strike anywhere matches but I cannot find them anywhere.

Caution shold be exercised... If a new "buy/sell" forums is created, what happens when a shipment never shows up? What about if the item is not as described? Do we tar/feather the offender? Who is telling the truth: the buyer, or the seller?
Nothing can turn friends into enemies faster than women and money. I have seen emotions run high on other forums when sales go bad.
I am not saying that it is a bad idea. I am just saying that if that area gets big enough, bad things WILL happen, and the ground rules need to be laid out up front.
