I see you have a Petzl Tikka, but no redundancy?? Just a thought, I TRY to always have two of the most important survival items, and a light is definitely one of my most important survival items.

Good catch... actually I've got a Surefire G2, but it sits in my other "BOB" which is more for day to day use.

Your post got me thinking, though - I'm considering adding another small light to my Condor kit.

I haven't had any problems with either my Maxpedition Condor or my Maxpedition Nucleus. (knock on wood)

In any case, Maxpedition has a limited lifetime warranty. If stitches are popping, that should help. Not sure about the Malice clips, though.

I looked at a lot of daypacks before settling on the Condor and it seemed like every other pack felt flimsy and poorly-constructed. Even the big name brands had a cheap feel to the fabric used and the way they were sewn together.

Yeah, your humidity will be a lot worse than mine. I've had mine out at my most unfavorite temp (-40) and they are fine, but nothing.

I'm suprised though- MALICE clips are a synthetic rubber, so I would think that the nylon in MOLLE/PALS webbing would rot as well in that condition.
