I just came across this item on the 'net after searching for another product by the same company. Lesche Digging Tool

From the specs, it would seem to be similar in weight to the U-Dig-It trowel, but offers the advantage of being one-piece as well as having a serrated edge and a sharpenable edge along with a handguard.

Has anyone else see one of these in the flesh that can compare the two? I'd like to get one of these to test, and if I turn out liking the U-Dig-It better, I'll use it in the garden.

I've got one, and I'm very happy with it. It makes a pretty fair shovel/saw/knife, and having had it on several picket lines, I've never been hassled for carrying "that big d----d knife", it's just another tool.

This looks like a Hori-Hori as found in any Japanese garden supply. the price should be about $12.00-$15.00. I have also seen them in the smokey Mountian catalogue. <><
