The forum is "ask a question / see some answers". This is good. It gets the information from the people that have it to the people that don't. However, it does limit the ability to have ordinary conversations. What I'm proposing is providing a safe place for ETS members to have those ordinary conversations:

Groo: I went camping this weekend.
Frylock: Yeah? How was it?
Groo: Nice. A little hot, but ok. Got a little storm that tested my new tent.
Frylock: Didn't blow away, did it?
Groo: Naaa... Stayed dry. I like it. Light, easy to set up.
Frylock: What brand is it?

This is kind of a silly example, but it could reasonably happen, and wouldn't be very appropriate to even "Around the Campfire".

Oh well. It's probably not going to be a problem since there doesn't seem to be much interest. This sort of thing works in other settings, though, so I thought I'd see what people thought. I might still set up a channel somwhere. If you're interested, PM me and I'll give you the location.
