There would probably be some discussion about that around this end of the state. It produces berries that are almost the perfect Tennessee orange. It should work great as a security plant under windows if you train it to grow where you want it like roses. When we had it around the back side of the house, it didn't spread like you would think it would given that the limbs are covered with berries.
