There would probably be some discussion about that around this end of the state. It produces berries that are almost the perfect Tennessee orange. It should work great as a security plant under windows if you train it to grow where you want it like roses. When we had it around the back side of the house, it didn't spread like you would think it would given that the limbs are covered with berries.

If I were in his shoes I'd went with this story:
" like he had been dropped there by a spaceship."

This was my favorite quote. Maybe after 3 pints of stout he thought he was Action Man for a little while there. Then he realized he was more like Malibu Ken. I do feel sorry for the guy because he thought he was somewhere familiar. It just goes to show you that even the most benign seeming areas can be dangerous.

Also, why do drunks always want to go walking around cliff tops? The Red River Gorge in Kentucky is full of cliffs and is one of the sport climbing meccas of the eastern US. Every year it seems, one of more people fall to their death in the Gorge. The majority of the time they were from outside the area, intoxicated, walking around in the dark, or all of the above. I realize the British guy didn't fall but it just makes me wonder My friends and I were known to take a bottle to the Gorge with us and sit around a fire, but we knew better than to wander around after drinking.

He should have carried EDC kit. He was careless person. This incident illustrates the negative effects of alchol on a person mental state. Alcohol impaired this man judgement and sense of direction. He could have been killed.
