Hi all, been lurking for a while and thought it about time I say Hello and start to contribute. Two things of possible interest, 1 the NRA store is running their deal on "Survival Systems" (I think it is) kit, basically a blast match, tinder, mirror, whistle and a nice pelican style box $12.95
http://www.nrastore.com/nra/product.aspx?productid=SS%2021955
I bought 4 of them last time they ran the special, they make great gifts.

The other site is http://www.exn.ca/OneWeek/watch/
you can watch all 7 episodes of Les Stroud's wilderness adventure in northern ontario. Its well worth watching. I hope that this isn't all old useless tid-bits I offer for my first post, let me know-

Cheers

Well, I rec. my goodies from the NRA store today via USPS. I inspected the four survival kits to find that one of the kits was missing the fire starter I just sent them an e-mail for replacement instructions. A great bargainfor the price. Nice case too. A Thanks again to Sailwesterly for the tip.

Good news from NRA Store:

"Thank you for your recent e-mail regarding your order. We are sorry that the item you received was missing a component. We have reshipped you another NRA Survival Kit. Please reference Order Number xxxxxx. Please accept our apology for any inconvenience this may have caused."

Now that's what I call customer service!
