Thanks John. Lots of info here. I dunno. Lithiums are still my all time favorites although they cost twice that of an alkaline. I know the lithiums (2) in my Lowrance GPS last ......................forever! They just don't wear out. I guess sometime this year I will have to change them but they have phenomenal life so far. My first Lowrance, a huge apparatus took eight batteries and might last two or three days at most. The next one took four and lasted many days. It was smaller but still heavy. Now this one is light and is like the Energizer bunny as far as batteries go. <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
