AFter carrying all this stuff for a while you don't even feel it. It's all about even placement and distribution. Of course it is much easier in the winter but even in the summer time if stuff gets too bulky I just bring a funny pack or my backpack that I always have with my anyway. In my pack you will find water, some candy bars and rain jacket. And as always guys comments, suggestions are always welcomed. I'm here to learn. Small disclaimer: meds you see are for my use, my family use and my close friends (after I got my friends dad out of diabetic come w/ glucagone and when my dad had an alergic reaction to shrimp coctail w/ Epi and Benadryl). None of my drugs goes to strangers.

My new old EDC:

Buck Strider Knife
Leatherman Wave
Zippo Titanium
LED flashlight
Yaesu Vx2r
Garmin GPS 60 cs (my new best friend)
2 pair of latex gloves
Keys with cpr shield
Spork (so I feel like a human)
Wallet
First Line First Aid Kit
PDA
Big Phone
EMS Shield
Luminox Watch
Dog tags with Orange Photon
2 pouches to store it
Not shown pack of Backwoods cigars

First Line First Aid Kit

Few BandAids
Aspirin
Motrin
BurnJel
Space Blanket
Anitbiotic Oinment
Alcohol WIpes
All this folds nicely into the pouhc also housing spork, flashlight and PDA and all that either goes into my cargo pocket or my pack:

Bigger kit that is in my car or backpack:

More BurnJel
5 ml syring with 2 needles
Band aids
Transparent dressing
Anitbiotic Oinment
Iodine Oinment
Motion Sickness Pills
Benadryl (tablets)
Benadryl (injection)
Atropine (1 mg) (injection)
Epinephrine 1:1000 (1mg) (injection)
Narcan 2mg (injection)
Thiamine (injection)
Glucagon (injection)
Advil
Charcoal in tablet forms

My small trauma kit for kayaking and camping

Small SAM splint
3 cravats
4x4s
BurnJel
Blood stopping bandage
2 x 250ml of Saline
1 drip set
2 IV starter Kits
2 syringes
Iodine (liquid + swabs)
Aspirin
3 x Epinephrine 1:1000 (1mg) (injection)
Dextrose 25 mg (injection)
Thiamine (injection)
Benadryl (injection)
Tape
Few extra needles
AnitItch pen
All this folds into this bag with Sam splint on the outside:

yes I do have a Sebenza but since I gave it a makeover thru chris reeve (custom scales and engraving) it bacame my black tie edc... I than switched to Microtech Terzuola but I broke the clip and can't find bit to even unsrew it. Than I went and bought the Buck/Strider combo. Since I'm constantly switching between work and job clothes I'm thinking about purchasing small Sebbie for civilian carry.

Thiamine (vitamin B-1) helps the body cells convert carbohydrates into energy. It is also essential for the functioning of the heart, muscles, and nervous system. When we get somebody with ALtered Mental Status we give it together with dextrose to speed up the time it takes to process conversion of sugar into energy. Also works for quick energy boosts.
